Customization Levels Available

Industry Leading Blueghozt Controller: Many Retrofitters are able to reduce the cost of their builds by using cheaper parts such as an sp105e or sp110e controller, GTA Retrofits does not. We do sell the sp105e controller on our website for those getting their toes wet in the world of custom headlight retrofitting, but on orders we build, we keep the bar high and stick with the Ghost Lighting Blueghozt Lite controller. We take it a step further and hand solder all connections and then fully waterproof (pot) the controller. Each connection is also provided with glue-lined heat-shrink to prevent water intrusion and corrosion. Your DRL & turn signal functions are hardwired into the controller providing automatic lighting for daily driving. Show modes are controlled from the users phone, and if desired, can override your DRL’s. The controller features 8+ Startup/Shutdown animations, multiple different turn signal animations, and for each show mode, the user is able to edit the selected colours, speed, and frequency.

Custom DRL LEDs: Our in-house 5V GT RGBW Chasing Strips uses a flexible ribbon, which helps us wrap around the stock housing with ease, and the 5V GT RGBW Halos are packed full of leds to provide the maximum output available, while being diffused though the silicone coating. We offer Round, Hex & Cross Style Halos

Low Voltage Shut Off: Due to the parasitic nature of ALL addressable (Chasing) LED’s, if your car is not a daily driver, you could find yourself with a dead battery sooner or later. A 24″ length of leds will draw approx 200 mA even when not in use, therefor we provide you the option to automatically disconnect your controller from your car battery, and as soon as you start your car back up, your headlights will start right back up. Should you change your mind later, it’s a simple as disconnecting the low-voltage controller and removing it.

Projector Clear Lens Swap

Here’s a before/after comparison of a well tuned projector after receiving a clear lens. Tuning involves spacing the lens faction of millimetres at a time, as well as trimming and sanding cut off shields.

OEM DRL/High Beam Location: We leave this chrome by default, you may request us to paint it IF you opt for a bi-xenon or bi-led projector, otherwise, we prefer not to remove your high beam functionality, we did it to ourselves once, it was ok… until we needed them, then it sucked. Our dedicated Gt High Beam Projector functions incredibly well for distance, but not for width, so it’s highly recommended to only be used with a bi-led, or bi-xenon projector swap.

RGB Demon Eyes: Demon Eyes are a subtle but unique touch for your headlights (often paired with projector lens etching), and can be controlled via your phone. We have solid RGB(w) options which have stand alone control from your Chasing DRL’s, or we offer the ability the integrate your demon eye into your show modes, which is cheaper, but does not offer flexibility in usage.

Projector Lens Etching: The final touch, whether you choose the classic honeycomb etching, a Sharingan, a business name, or literally any other pattern or logo, a projector lens etching sets you apart, typically (but not automatically) paired with a Bluetooth Controlled GT RGB Demon Eye.

Led Turn Signals: GTA Retrofits is happy to provide you with led turn signals, and the required resistor to prevent hyperflash. However, we cannot pre-wire the resistor unless we somehow acquire a wire harness, and at the moment, we only would be able to get yours if you shipped yours. Otherwise, we’ll just provide you instructions on how to DIY install it. Alternatively, you can purchase a resistor separately and only use the halos as your sole turn signal.

Paint: Each surface is properly stripped and prepped prior to painting, ensuring lifelong satisfaction. OEM paint match will ensure a 95%+ match and uses a 2 part clear coat to provide a orange-peel free finish. All paint is sprayed in a heat & humidity controlled booth with drown draft ventilation to ensure consistent spray patterns, and no overspray or contaminants.

Sealant: Each retrofit always receives new oem colour matched sealant. Any dirt or debris caught in the original sealant is removed.

Aftermarket Housings: Nothing beats oem…except on price. This remains true for the UV clearcoat applied to aftermarket lenses, which can fail much sooner than oem. It is the customers responsibility to have Paint Protection Film (PPF) installed by a local detailer AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to prevent damage from rock chips & the sun. Clear coat failure, and anything else directly related to the aftermarket housing is not covered under warranty.

Important: The Mazda 3 provides GTA Retrofits with the ability to tap into the oem DRL & Turn Signal wires to allow your new LED to function exactly as OEM. If selected, we tap the white halo high power mode into OEM DRL location, white low power mode into OEM Parking lights, and turn signal & ground wires accordingly, same with the sequential switchback strips, however we do confer with you how you’d like the drl mode triggered since there’s only 1 power wire. Alternatively, if you’d like your drl’s to turn on/stay on different than oem, you are able to connect the signal wire to a different power source at will. Due to the wide choice selection that customers have with how to turn on their DRL’s, we only provide a bare wire for that DRL’s power source wire. You may wish to tap it into a cigarette lighter wire parking light, or (recommended) use an Add-a-Circuit adapter to a fuse that provides 12v when your car is powered on.
