You’ve seen the video on YouTube & Instagram and want a set of your own. We use the industry leading Diode Dynamics Halos (when selected), waterproofed with heatshrink connectinos to ensure a long lifespan. Each retrofit gets fresh black Diode Dynamics butyl sealant added to match the OEM colour. Please read about our options available below, as well as view the videos.

GT Sequential Switchback LED Headlights
This service is offered for Mazda 3, and Mazdaspeed 3 models with OEM HID Headlights with AFS (Side to Side projector motion). Service is also available for OEM HID models without AFS, however, no projector swap is available at this time.
Customization Levels Available
There are 5 base options available for your headlights (satin black paint is a default).
- Sequential Switchback Strips
- Diode Dynamics Switchback Halos
- Projector Clear Lens (Reuses oem projector, swaps lens for more output & sharp output)
- Projector HID or LED Swap (Retains oem AFS, but completely swaps your projector. A great option if your bowls are burnt, which is unfortunately common on these headlights). HID projector would retain your HID Bulbs & Ballasts (Cost saving), LED would be an all in one unit and bypass all that. We would hardwire the components.
- Bluetooth Controlled RGB Demon Eyes – Additional RGB Led chip added to your projector, only visible at night (overpowered by low beams & sun), controlled by your phone.
Low Beam Projector Options: The OEM D2S Projectors are well known for their decent output, and with a little work (a projector clear lens swap), can provide a great boost in output, with a sharp cutoff line, and a nice luxurious blue flicker. That being said, the reflector bowl is also susceptible to early failure with visible deterioration in the output from the damaged chrome. Luckily, projector replacements are available, all while maintaining your OEM AFS sytem. Customers can choose to retain their oem HID system, which reuses the OEM ballast, and bulb (or upgrade/swap your bulb), or elect to swap to a complete LED setup. Projector Clear Lens Swap Comparison
Here’s a before/after comparison of a well tuned projector after receiving a clear lens. Tuning involves spacing the lens faction of millimetres at a time, as well as trimming and sanding cut off shields.

Important: The Speed3 provides GTA Retrofits with the ability to tap into the oem DRL & Turn Signal wires to allow your new LED to function exactly as OEM. If selected, we tap the white halo high power mode into OEM DRL location, white low power mode into OEM Parking lights, and turn signal & ground wires accordingly, same with the sequential switchback strips, however we do confer with you how you’d like the drl mode triggered since there’s only 1 power wire. Alternatively, if you’d like your drl’s to turn on/stay on different than oem, you are able to connect the signal wire to a different power source at will. Due to the wide choice selection that customers have with how to turn on their DRL’s, we only provide a bare wire for that DRL’s power source wire. You may wish to tap it into a cigarette lighter wire parking light, or (recommended) use an Add-a-Circuit adapter to a fuse that provides 12v when your car is powered on.
Terms & Conditions (Important)
Shipping Insurance: Route shipping insurance is automatically applied and covers the cost of the service (ie: lens + labour). Due to the unique shipping situation, where the customer is sending GTA Retrofits headlight housings often costing thousands, we have added the option for you to purchase additional return shipping insurance at check out. Opting not to select and purchase the coverage will leave your headlights without coverage from damage, loss, or theft. Signature will be required on all shipments.
Our standard retrofit warranty and terms & conditions apply to this purchase. No refunds once we’ve received your headlights under any circumstances. Most lenses will be special ordered, and cannot be refunded once our supply order is placed, typically 2-3 days. Post-order refunds will be for the labour portion only, and may be subject to a 10% fee.
Cores: This service requires customers to provide their housing assemblies, no cores are available, and turn around time (not including shipping) is approx 1 week.
Imports: GTA Retrofits is a Canadian company, American customers will be provided a American PO box to ship their headlights to, and we will do the paper work to import into Canada. There is a fee associated with this, that is set by our broker, typically around $35-40 CAD. The actual cost will be passed along to the customer before we ship the headlights back. Due to the tariffs placed upon Canada by the USA, American customers should expect to pay $80-120 in Tariffs/Duties to the shipper (UPS typically) before receiving their headlights, GTA Retrofits has no ability to prepay them for you. We declare the headlights are Warranty/Repair.
UPS Standard often has higher border fees/costs on top of the initial shipping costs than 3 Day Select (even more than the difference), for piece of mind, we typically choose 3 Day Select for all our packages, we suggest you do the same. Return shipping cost is based off a 60cmx60cmx40cm box, weighing 10kg. Shipping costs will be adjusted if shipping costs are significantly off.
Local drop off/pick up is available as a shipping option at check out for those located in the GTA. We’re located in Pickering, Ontario.
