The 2018-2020 Acura TLX has one of the most recognizable DRL signatures on the road — and we make it unforgettable. Each TLX build is built around the factory acrylic light bar, with hand-soldered LEDs placed precisely to maximize the OEM optics. The result is a chasing RGBW effect that looks factory-quality from a distance, and jaw-dropping up close.

What’s Inside

Controller: Blueghozt Lite Smart LED Controller. We exclusively use the Blueghozt controller for all of our builds. It is hands down the most capable controller while being easy to program on the fly. DRL & Turn Signal functions are hardwired for automatic functionality, while showmodes are controlled via APP from your phone. Other Retrofitters may opt for cheaper sp105e, sp110e variant controllers to save cost and secure the sale. We don’t offer anything less than the best.

LEDs: GT RGBW Rigid UCS2904 Chasing Strips (12V): We use in-house designed & stocked 12v UCS2904 LEDs to provide the best & brightest available. The semi-rigid board allows for better heat dissipation and vibration resistance. The TLX’s elongated light bar demands precise strip placement and a high solder point count — every joint is done by hand to ensure a seamless chase effect across the full length of the DRL.

Low Voltage Shut Off: Due to the parasitic nature of ALL addressable (Chasing) LED’s, if your car is not a daily driver, you could find yourself with a dead battery sooner or later. A 24″ length of leds will draw approx 200 mA even when not in use, therefor we provide you the option to automatically disconnect your controller from your car battery, and as soon as you start your car back up, your headlights will start right back up. Should you change your mind later, it’s a simple as disconnecting the low-voltage controller and removing it.

Paint: Each surface is properly stripped and prepped prior to painting, ensuring lifelong satisfaction. OEM paint match will ensure a 95%+ match and uses a 2 part clear coat to provide a orange-peel free finish. All paint is sprayed in a heat & humidity controlled booth with drown draft ventilation to ensure consistent spray patterns, and no overspray or contaminants.

Sealant: Each retrofit always receives new oem colour matched sealant. Any dirt or debris caught in the original sealant is removed.

New External Lenses: are available for this model, however like all aftermarket lenses, is susceptible to accelerated UV wear. The customer is responsible for applying PPF (Paint protection film) once installed. UV wear is not warrantied.

Lead Time & Turn Around Time: Current earliest booking is provided above, with a 1-2 week turnaround time depending on complexity of your order. You will be contacted after your order is placed to confirm shipping/drop off date (plan to have your housings arrive on date posted above).

Important: The TLX does not have a 12v turn signal wire feeding the headlight, as such, we cannot provide a tap for the Blueghozt controller to use as the turn signal signal wire. Customers will have to run a wire to the side mirrors, or rear tail light. We only provide 2m of wire, and due to the endless ways you could run the wire, you’ll be responsible for providing the remaining length required. Due to the wide choice selection that customers have with how to turn on their DRL’s, we only provide a bare wire for that DRL’s power source wire. You may wish to tap it into a cigarette lighter wire parking light, or (recommended) use an Add-a-Circuit adapter to a fuse that provides 12v when your car is powered on.
