These sequencer modules can control large arrays of LEDs and provide full control for running lights, sequential turn signals, brake signals, startup/shutdown animation, and show mode animation! 28 channels to control! Supports multiple show modes or multiple turn signals! The v5 LED sequencers are shipped to you with one of our standard animation packages: headlights or taillights. With headlight programming, the brake input acts as a DRL/dimmer trigger. With taillight programming, the parking/running lights are at 50% brightness. This can be further customized using our software, and reprogrammed by you using your computer! (requires a PICKit3 programmer sold separately) These controllers are ESD-sensitive. It is highly recommended to use an ESD mat to prevent damage to the control unit.

If required, please select the OS version you would like. You will be provided a download link after purchase. MPLab IPE is the software you use to flash your V5 LED Sequencers with the custom programming generated from Sequence Designer!

1x 30 Pin PCB Header + 2x PCB Header

This 30-pin ribbon cable connector works perfectly with our v5 LED Sequencers! One ribbon cable is ~3 feet with TWO connectors (one on each end) so you can cut it in half and have 2 1.5 foot cables with 1 connector on each! This set up is typically perfect when ordering 2 V5 Sequencers (sold individually), so if you include this add-on to both V5, you'll have too many.

Minimal experience with retrofitting, soldering, and working with LEDs/resistors required. Headlight/taillight in most cases must be opened to gain direct access to LEDs, to install our sequencer. LEDs, headlights, or taillights are all sold separately.

Depending on the available stock, customers ordering “blank” units may receive heads/tails units, which can simply wipe their pre-programmed configurations.

Pickit3 Description

We now stock the Pickit3 programmer that you need to program your v5 LED Sequencers! No need to hunt one down via 3rd party any longer! This unit connects to your computer via USB port on one side, and to your V5 LED Sequencer with a 6 pin header connection! Using the MPLab software, also available for download here, you can re-program your LED Sequencers endlessly!
