Have us pre-wire your controller, making it IP66 compliant, perfect for engine bays. Addressable leds (5v & 12v) naturally have a parasitic draw when off (not the controller). We personally use this low voltage shut off to disconnect power from the battery when your battery reaches the user specified limit. Not mandatory, but dead batteries suck. Daily drivers should be fine, but for 3-4 days without driving, we might suggest pulling the fuse if you don’t have one of these. Simply plug in between the battery connections & power converter (5v) or controller (12v).

All connections using JST plugs MUST use di-electric grease and heat shrink to prevent corrosion forming on the pins. Failure to do so will void your warranty. Doesn’t have to be from us, but it has to be done. Module seen circled in blue.
