GT RGBWA Chasing Halos
All GT RGBWA Chasing Halos now have an input & an output, meaning easier installation for you! Simply daisy chain the halos and/or strips together and you’ll only need one wire coming out of the headlight. These halos are 5V, not 12v like most automotive LED products, and MUST use the 5V transformer included. No secondary power wiring is needed for the RGB controller, it draws its power directly from the 5v transformer.
Controllers:
- Auto on DRL with 5+ selectable start up/shut down animations
- 5+ Turn signal styles with editable speeds and size
- 20+ Editable show modes
- Controll as many leds as you can power. (Typically about 300 chips per 1 10 amp power source).

The sp105e offer 4 Different Modes;
- Solid White parking light mode. This mode is triggered by a wire direct to the driver. Customers may attach this to an “Always on fuse”, a toggle switch, or any other light that they’d like the strip to turn on with (oem parking light wire). Parking Light mode overrides RGB & Show mode, so if you forget to turn off either before driving, it will automatically turn white.
- Switchback Turn Signals. The halos will flash amber with your oem turn signal. This overrides RGB, Show Mode & DRL Mode.
- Solid RGB. The downloadable IOS or Android App has “quick buttons” for solid RGB colours on the home screen.
- Show Mode. 200 Preprogrammed Show modes controlled via your phone.
Modes 1 & 2 Operate without any user input and will work regardless of Bluetooth connectivity (must still be connected to battery at all times). Modes 3 & 4 work directly from battery and will work regardless if vehicle is ON or OFF (However 1 & 2 will still override 3 & 4).
The DRL Driver DRL & Turn signal modes are limited to approx 87 chips. (Show modes work up to 600) This is approx the length of a 24″ Strip. If you are looking to use the sp105e controller with a halo + strip combo longer than 87 chips, we’d recommend the Blueghozt.
Why Capacitors? In our attempts to improve reliability, we have found that voltage spikes do not play nicely with 5V leds. So we created our inline GT Capacitors that also have a resistor on the data line to do everything we can to prevent voltage spikes in any form.
Dielectric Grease: Add this to all connections before you cover it in heat-shrink to prevent corrosion. A good connection is a happy connection is a happy customer.
Extension Wires: Use these extension wires to give yourself a little extra play room when installing your headlights, simply insert between your controller/driver and the wires exiting the headlights. Make sure you are coating the connections with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion and also taping them up.
Please Note
Addressable LEDs (the halos and strips themselves) have a small power drain even when off, regardless of the controller selected. If your car is driven daily, this should have no effect on you. If your car sits for a week+, consider installing a switch on the 12+ wire connecting to the battery (after the fuse).
Addressable LEDs are sensitive to temperature, especially, say, a 150+ degree bulb. If you’d like to get the longest life possible out of your purchase, consider running your halos/strips only has a drl and have them turn off when your low beam is on.

- All halos are sold in pairs.
